Privacy Policy
Effective September 10, 2026.
Who we are
Collision Safety Consultants of PA, 101 Woodbine Rd, Unit 2213, Downingtown, PA 19335, john@collisionsafetyconsultantspa.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you contact us, hire us or use this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
What you give us: your name, phone number, email address and mailing address; details about your vehicle, the accident and the claim; documents you send or upload, such as photos, repair estimates, carrier valuations and invoices; and, if you consent to text messages, that consent and the number it applies to.
What the website records: basic technical information such as browser type, the pages visited and the time of the visit, used only to keep the site working.
How we use it
- To open and work your appraisal case, and to prepare the documents the case needs.
- To contact you about your case by phone, email and, if you asked for it, text message.
- To schedule inspections and calls, and to confirm and remind you of them.
- To meet our legal, licensing and record-keeping obligations.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number and your consent, we send non-marketing text messages about your case or a call you booked with us: case status updates, requests for documents, appointment confirmations and reminders, rescheduling, and one feedback request after a case closes. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to text messages is optional and is not a condition of hiring us.
Sharing your information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Working a case means dealing with the people the case involves: the insurance carrier and its appraiser or adjuster, an umpire if one is appointed, and the repair shop working on your vehicle. We share with them only what the case requires.
We use software providers to run our office, such as case management, scheduling, email, text messaging and payment services. They process your information on our behalf and under our instructions, and for no other purpose.
We may disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Keeping it safe
Case files are kept in password-protected systems with access limited to the people working your case. We keep them for as long as the case and our record-keeping obligations require, then delete them.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text message and we stop texting that number.
- Email john@collisionsafetyconsultantspa.com to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, subject to the records we are required to keep.
Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date.
